John Bush served in the Civil War and later brought his family to Table Rock. In back are Lottie Jane Horton, Ella Skillett, Mattie Martin, and in front is Laura Widdifield. Their daughter Lottie married Sid Horton, one of the children of Civil War veteran Benjamin Horton and wife Cornelia (above).

The old brick school, Photo 7764. Thjs one has a rare view of the infamous & well-remembered slipper slide.
Photo 7772 -- a view of then "new addition" to the school. This is a unique view. In the 1960s, the old school, seen here to the right, was demolished and this "new addition" was repurposed as the high school wing.
