a day to remember -- a total eclipse of the sun

Most of the photos I took during the day I took with a solar filter, but when totality hit I shot with no filter. In my haste I didn't reset the settings on my camera and just shot 2 quick pictures during totality. I was actually pretty convinced that they weren't going to turn out very well, then when we got in the car on the way home I looked at them and was amazed. Sometimes the photography god are just on your side. :-)"

mpr news story about the adventures of ken fiscus & his eclipse watchers
Science teacher Ken Fiscus lived in Table Rock as a kid. His dad was minister at the Christian Church. In 2017, he returned with a whole lot of eclipse watchers. This story is about the trip. They watched the eclipse in Pawnee City but they stopped in Table Rock at the Tiger Pride Activity Center for some good food, and pics are included here.
