opening our first museums
Opera house, pioneer museum, maple grove country school
We opened our first museums in 1966, the Old Opera House Museum and the Table Rock Pioneer Museum. The Governor, the Lt. Governor, our Senator, and the State Historion came. Document 1 is a program from the opening ceremony.
much preparation led up to this opening ceremony. as volunteers prepared the pioneer museum & the opera house for dedication, they were also working on a project to bring in the maple grove country school to make into a museum

1967 - the fledgling historical society helps celebrate the nebraska state centenniel
1976 - the argus newspaper museum opens
