the 2019 table rock fair
a recap
From the editor: There was so MUCH going on that it is hard to sum it all up. Two professional photographers were snapping pictures -- Paula Jasa and Chase Merwin, who contribute to the Pawnee Republican and the Humboldt Standard, respectively, and you will see many of their pictures below. I took a lot of pictures, too, although not of the caliber of Paula and Chase. Sadly, I did not take pictures at the Argus Museum! I can't believe I missed the big Historical Society contribution to the fair! In my only defense, I'm on the Fair Committee of the Community Club, too, and took most of the pictures as I was out and about coordinating things with the fair, and Chris had the Argus newspaper show running so smoothly that I did not need to be there! So, keep that in mind as you scroll down to see some of the pictures of all the fun that we had that day! Sharla Sitzman, 9/19/19

This group of barbershop singers out of Beatrice, Nebraska strolled the streets of Table Rock on a sultry afternoon, sharing sweet a capella singing. They walked in our parade, following "The Old Lady," a Model A owned and driven by Sherry Winkinhofer of the Table Rock Historical Society. They took the stage at the old band stand, singing the Star Spangled Banner and moving on to more songs. This gregarious bunch of fellows were a real treat!
