town marshals of table rock
A July 2015 Facebook post on the Table Rock Historical Society Group page mentioned the 1896 murder of marshal Craig of Table Rock, noted that the Argus described the funeral and said he was buried in the Table Rock Cemetery, but there is now no record of where. A quetstion was also raised about how many marshals Table Rock has had. There were quite a few responses!
Stacy Fankhauser: My dad was once the town marshal. [That would be Lyle Hunzeker.]
Kim Vrtiska My Dad was the town marshal also at one time. [That would be Floyd Vrtiska.]

Barb Rowland My Dad, Melvin Wenzbauer, was town Marshall in the late 60's when I was in high school. But I don't remember for how long.
Larry Layden Carl Bernadt was marshal when I was in high school 1957 to 1961 or so. Nice guy except he told me to quit driving around town until I turned 16. Before him there was a guy named Noonan. He gave it up and went to work as a guard at the state pen.
