the table rock theater
a gathering space
The Lincoln Hotel Block was built in 1918. It consisted of four buildings anchored by the Lincoln Hotel and a movie theater. On the west side was a building originally used for the Community Bank and later often used as a cafe or retail space. In the back was a garage, since torn down.
The buildings are owned by Table Rock Development Corporation. The ground floor of the hotel was converted to a senior center in the 1990s and is leased to Blue Rivers Area Agency for the Aging. The theater is not part of the senior center, something that sopme people do not realize.
The theater gathering space is available for a small amount of rent, much of it just for overhead. The theater can be rented on its own, without the senior center (and vice versa). For info, contact [email protected].
