schedule
car show: 2 - 4 P.M.
& to continue after the parade
Registration begins at 1 p.m. at the southeast corner of Town Square. Vehicles will be lined up on the Luzerne Street on the south side of the square. No entry fee. This is just for fun.
In addition, the Smith Poker Run on Fair day will end up at the Fair. After the parade, many of those cars will park on the Square in designated areas. TABLE ROCK LOVES ITS CARS! During the show, the Soda Fountain Coffee Club will host a hospital room just for owners of the cars being showed and their guests. There will be beverages, light snacks, and ice cream. The Model A Club of Northwest Missouri will return with a number of their beautiful old cars. Here are 3 of the club members' cars on the road. More information for entrants: Richard Sitzman, 402.297-3685. |
parade: 4:30 p.m.
Just like in the old days like in this picture with Stanley Bowen leading the parade, Mike Wilcox, grandson of Civil War veteran By Wilcox, will carry the colors.
A confirmed entry is the steam engine that they use to run the threshing machine, etc; Roy Mullin says that either he or Ken will drive it through. The Greg Blecha Trio and friends will hop on a wagon to play some Czech music as they go. We hope to have a good variety of entries. KIDS GET SPECIAL TREATMENT. We welcome decorated bicycles and kids in costume, like we always had in the old days. Each kid in the parade gets a coupon for a free cotton candy, snow cone, or ice cream at the northeast corner of the park. |

This popular band plays Czech music and a little bit of everything else. They they are at the left, playing at the Colonial Acres nursing facility in Humboldt (thanks to them for posting this on their Facebook page!). Greg Blecha grew up playing in the band of his dad, Bob Blecha & the Bouncing Czechs. He plays some of that stuff, too! The trio consists of Greg and two other old-time Czech musicians, Donna Svanda on drums and Bob Stepanek on bass horn. Bob is in the Sokol Polka Hall of Fame. |

companySponsored by the always-generous State Bank of Table Rock, an amazing fireworks company will be back in Table Rock. They were here for the Bank's big 130th birthday party last year.
They will knock your sock off! If you want to see a full scale video of what this company has done, take a look at this!
