PIN ON THAT BUTTON!
a selection from bob norris's button collection
See a discussion below these two pictures:
These are from Bob Norris, a descendant of Table Rock's founder, C. W. Giddings, by way of Giddings' daughter Fannie Norris. Bob has family photos but also likes to collect things like these:
Your Facebook post of the Table Rock Tigers button got me thinking about some old buttons of my Grandfather's (Edgar). I had them mounted and framed years ago. They are mostly political, but some were to promote local events.
The attached photos show one from the Table Rock McKinley -Roosevelt club.
In the other photo there are two from the State Line Old Settlers Association first annual pic nic(they split the word) July 31-August 1 1901. It named Pawnee County Nebraska and Nemaha County Kansas.
Also in that photo the Auburn Chautauqua was from 1911 and showed Charles Horner as the manager.
There was no date on the Pawnee County fair button.
There are many more, but those are the best for local interest.

Valerie Binder, a lifetime member of the Historical Society, Facebooked this picture, saying, "Remember these?" Oh yeah!
