May 2017 -- Eagle Scout Trent Plager of Boy Scout Troop 289, Humboldt, and Staff Sgt. Froa, who, delivered the flag to be used for Military Honors for Private William McNeal of the 2nd Kansas Cavalry. Private McNeal died in the Civil War. His body lays in a place known but to God, but on Memorial Day weekend, a new military tombstone was dedicated by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, with Military Honors by the United States Army. Staff Sgt. Froa delivered the flag into the hands of Plager, to care for it until the ceremony. The Civil War statue they stand before honors those who lay in unknown graves, and was placed and dedicated in the Table Rock Cemetery in 1903.
