the lincoln hotel block
"Block" does not refer to a city block but rather to a block of buildings -- constructed at the same time and with common walls. In Table Rock there have been at least two such blocks -- the Lincoln Hotel Block and the M. H. Marble Block.
The Lincoln Hotel block originally consisted of four buildings: hotel, theater, bank (the original use for the building on the west side of the theater), and, on the south side of the hotel, a maintenance garage. The garage has since been torn down.
