PETER MULLER
In 1896, Peter Muller patented a hoist and dump for grain or coal. Note his witnesses - One was David Miller, cashier for the State Bank of Table Rock when it first opened in 1885 and later moving up; David Miller married Velma McCrea, daughter of Dr. Ed McCrea of Table Rock. The other witness was W. L. Taylor -- William Lindsay Taylor, a merchant who just a couple of years before had opened his store his his own new brick building---now housing the Argus Newspaper museum.
