charles keiser (1868-1881) & William keiser (1873-1874)
keiser cemetery
AGES 13 & 1
The names were on the side of their father's tombstone, which had been knocked off its base and was lying on its back, half buried in dirt. The darker side of the stone, on the left, was buried and dark with the right side that exposed faded out. It was virtually impossible to get a good picture with an exposure that would suit both surfaces. Stone located in 2020.

13-year-old Charles --- probably called Charlie -- and 1-year old William -- probably called Will or Billie -- were the sons of Nimrod and Mary Elizabeth Martin Keiser (1824-1893, 1833-1999). The inscriptions for these two children areon the side of their father's tombstone, along with an inscription for Mary C. Keiser. The inscriptions are largely hidden, because the stone is lying in dirt partially buried.
Charlie's & William's siblings included Sarah Keiser (? - 1858), Preston Keiser (1859-1920), Malinda Keiser (1863-1863), Malinda Keiser Hayes (1864-1939), and Olive Keiser Kuper (1870-1962). https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/206312229/charles-h_-keiser https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/206312267/william-keiser |
