w. s. cherry, physician

Document 42, a 1911 Pocket Directory to Table Rock, Nebraska, includes some business advertisements. Those businesses included W. S. Cherry, Physician. He just listed his phone numbers. His phone number at the office: "3."  

At some time before this directory was issued, Dr. Cherry's office was in the Marble Block rather than the Wilson Block.  M. H. Marble built it, and it included a hotel and his office.  In this photograph identified as in 1905 in one place and 1908 in another, you can see this. In the fourth window from the right, there is a sign that says, "Doctor Cherry." 

Dr. Cherry was active in civic affairs.  (I recall that he was once honored as one of the most influential men in town, but now I cannot put my hands on the article. S. Cerra). Here are a few articles mentioning him, but there are many.
