1911 statutes for the state of nebraska
In the Argus Museum are law books used by Milton H. Marble, long a Justice of the Peace. Included in those books is a volume containing the statutes of the State of Nebraska for the year 1911. Given that the 1911 ordinances of the Village of Table Rock have been posted, it seems appropriate to add some statutes from that year as well.
These statues have been selected at random. The page fell open to them and they seemed fun. Because of the size of the volume, they were photographed rather than scanned. For that reason, they are more difficult to read. But it's worth it. The very best is the statute making it unlawful to provoke or ATTEMPT to provoke someone into beating you by uttering gross and vile comments about the person to be provoked..... |
