Frances Workman came to town and took over the soda fountain in 1974. She was the lady behind the counter for a long time, about 25 years. At left below, cousin Sharla Sitzman Cerra and a younger cousin. After retirement, Frances volunteered at the TR Senior Center for many years.

Frances came to Table Rock from Kansas City in about 1971. She was a widow with one child, Rodney. Frances ran Workman's Drugstore for many years. She and Tom Freeman were an "item" almost from the beginning and over 50 years later (in 2025) still are. They have always been a devoted couple.
